The Metalsmithing and Jewelry concentration at Towson University allows students to explore the precise handcraft skills of metalworking while honing their design, critique, and presentation skills.
By seamlessly combining technical, conceptual and design based study, the program prepares students for a wide variety of opportunities. When combined with required digital object design coursework students are prepared for graduate study, design jobs, work as a bench jeweler, creation of an independent production line, or showing art in the contemporary jewelry field.
